Welcome to my webspace!

I am currently a Software Engineer at Microsoft, graduated from Computer Science in Trinity College Dublin! Further details about my professional experience can be found on my Resume.

A passion for coding and technology-based education and collaboration fuelled my time as a Computer Science student in Trinity College Dublin.

From my first year in university, I built on my growth and organization skills by arranging mock programming tests to help my peers prepare for programming exams. While interviewing for internships in my second year in university, as Class Representative I co-created and co-ran a widely successful Mock Interview Club for my year group, that was later expanded to a society-wide opportunity during my time as Secretary/VP of the Dublin University Computer Science Society (DUCSS). This mock interview club helped me, and several others, prepare for technical and behavioural interviews and I secured a place as a Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft (2 summers).

The expansion of this club gave opportunity to invite industry professionals from across the industry to connect with and engage with students, primarily to help them prepare for interviews, advance their algorithm knowledge and gain an understanding of the scene in technology and the prospects available. This role also gave me the opportunity to participate in new activities and build on my writing skills by creating exciting weekly email updates to advertise events for the society.

In my final year in university, I decided to step outside my university and take on part time teaching. I engaged with The Academy of Code in Dublin, teaching students 8-18 (afterschool/weekends) the basics and advanced concepts of OOP. I have continued to teach at The Academy of Code post-graduation.

A combination of my strong technical background in college and professionally post-graduation, and my passion for working with people of all ages as demonstrated through my experience with the Students Union, mentorship programs and college societies at Trinity continues to power me.
